Some bosses will activate a protective blue shield. They are pretty tough and deal a lot of damage, kill one to get this trophy (trophy will pop immediately on the European version of the game, in the American version the trophy will pop AFTER you leave the room). These are giant bat-like creatures found on the south planet. Here's a video showing the final battle taking no damage: For this trophy I recommend reaching the final boss with just one health, so if you get hit you’ll be killed at once and you can try again right away. If you get hit, let yourself be killed and try again (there’s a checkpoint just before the boss). (Please, if you are gonna steal this trick as yours, don't, give credit back to this guide). This works post-game if you beat the final boss again (thanks to Liinus for confirming this). if you started at 10:30AM, the game will register it as your starting time it doesn’t matter how many hours you really took, but just before the final boss set the system clock at 11:10AM (for example), so you have enough time to beat the boss and reach the end before the clock hits 11:30AM. There’s a trick for getting this easily even on your first run: back-up your save just before the final boss, close the game and set the system clock to give you enough time to beat the boss and reach the end before one hour has passed since the time you started this tricks the game since it uses the system clock to track both your starting and ending time and it can't know if you manipulated the clock or not. The trophy will pop as soon as you touch the Warp Core at the end. Pausing the game or doing anything other than speed-running will waste time too, remember it is real time what’s being tracked. Needless to say, backing up your save is useless and will just waste precious seconds. if you start at 10:30AM you’ll have to finish it at or before 11:29AM (you don’t need to collect all Extenders for this).

This has to be done on ONE SITTING as the game tracks the real time you start and finish, e.g.

Secret areas are marked with gray dots.Ĭollect all 12 Gun Extenders. Here’s a full map showing all areas and Extenders locations. Keep in mind, as being a Metroidvania, there will be locked areas you can’t reach but after you get certain power-ups. The trophy will pop as soon as you visit the last room. You have to visit all areas on all four planets, including secret areas (accessed through fake walls). If you want to get it legit you will have to do it in ONE SITTING, backing up your save will not work as the game uses real-time to track your time, although there is a easy trick for this, check the trophy description for more information. Step 3: speed run (beat the game in less than 1 hour)Īt this point you should be VERY familiar with the game, so it’s time for your speed run.
HYPER LIGHT DRIFTER TROPHY GUIDE PLUS

During your travels on space, your ship gets hit by a wandering asteroid and it's Warp Core gets damaged.
